Personal Care & Companions

Aging beyond our golden years sometimes present physical and mental changes that affect us in less than ideal ways. Some seniors develop chronic illnesses such as Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia for example. Those health conditions adversely impacts a person’s ability to maintain dignity and independence while remaining safe at home. In addition, seniors often experience feelings of loneliness, depression, and isolation due to loss of friends and love ones with whom they experienced life. Maintaining social bonds is crucial to thwarting those feelings and living a good quality life.

Support and companionship improves quality of life through specialized assistance and attention provided to you or your loved one. Whether it’s personal care, or just someone who stops in for a midday check up, those moments of socialization make all the difference. The impact of maintaining those social bonds is often a longer and healthier life with improved comfort and wellbeing. Acuity Homecare offers various levels of support to meet those needs.
