About Us

Acuity Homecare was founded from a desire to improve upon our own personal experiences in healthcare. Throughout our 20-plus years of combined nursing practice my wife and I recognized that most of our patients had one thing in common. That is, despite being cared for by highly trained professionals within a hospital, skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation center, they maintained a strong desire to recover at home. The comfort, familiarity and assurance felt in their own home along with easy accessibility to their support network of friends and family allowed for a safer, faster recovery.

At Acuity Homecare we have dedicated ourselves to ensuring every one of our clients are treated like real people. We provide compassion, respect, professionalism and good old-fashioned excellent customer service. We visit our clients and caregivers in person routinely to ensure satisfaction with our service along with in home supervision to our caregivers.

Well, Acuity Homecare does. Our caregivers do not just sit at the bedside on their phones while you or your loved one sit quietly in their own thoughts. We are a socially interactive company that engage and interact with our clients in a way that other companies do not. Our events planner organizes picnics, movie nights, concerts, or nature walks to name a few for all of our clients (weather and client functional limitations considered). We utilize social media (with client and family authorization) such as Facebook and Instagram to highlight fun activities our clients partake in. This keeps families and friends involved and connected to the social life their loved one has. We also provide a family room through our website that enables loved ones to monitor daily activities and interact with our staff and caregivers in a chat room-like forum.

Our Caregivers

Our team of caregivers and companions are some of the most compassionate professionals you will ever meet. We take special care to ensure they are well-experienced and fully vetted through a multi-step on-boarding process prior to joining our team.

Our caregivers have a minimum of two years experience working in healthcare. In addition, they must pass a comprehensive federal & local background check to ensure complete safety and confidence for our clients.
